Sloan Wainwright Unable to Perform at July 28th Concert

The New Middle Class -- Barbara and Mike Borok -- will be joining The Clancy Tradition, The Walant Family Irish Step Dancers and The Disappoinments on Saturday's Katonah Village Library Benefit Concert at The Harvey School. Picnicing is encouraged from 4:30pm and music will begin at approximately 5pm. Check back with the Library arfter 12pm on Saturday at 232-3508 fori nclement weather updates. Sloan Wainwright regretably announced that she cannot perform on Saturday due to an extensive leg injury and we wish her aspeedy recovery.

August 6th, Monday, evening - Mad Hatter Party & Ice Cream Social, Children's Room.

August 8th, Wednesday, 6 p.m. - Book & Pizza - Forever in Blue will be discussed, 11-14 years old. Sign-up.

August 10th, Friday, 3 p.m. - Summer Teen Movies - Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

August 13th, Monday, 3 p.m. - Games Galore II, ages 9-14, bring your own board games.

August 13th, Monday, 6:30 p.m. - Pizza Dinner Reading Group, Children's Room. Sign-up.

August 15th, Wednesday, 7 p.m. - Sudoku Nite for Everyone. Join us & compete against other Sudoku players. Win book prizes. Light Refreshment served

August 23rd, Thursday, 2:30 p.m. - Movies in the Afternoon - Yankee Doodle Dandy.

July at the Library

We have wonderful programs for July 2007.

The Library's Third Annual Concert takes place on July 28th at the Harvey School, Route 22. More information - Concert Page.

July 16th - Harry Potter Trivia Contest - join for a fun afternoon of trivia questions. Anyone can win - all young folk are invited to participate. More information - Harry Potter Events page.

Meanwhile the Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Guessing Game is still going full speed ahead. Just drop by the Children's Room & fill out the all the questions. There will be 7 by July 16th. July 25th at 7 p.m. there will be a Cartooning Workshop with Mike Teator for young adults.

The series Movies in the Afternoon will continue with Cimarron the 1931 Oscar winner.
