Children's Room 2007 Summer Wrap-Up

Over 100 kids became detectives while participating in our Get A Clue Summer Reading Program. Reading to discover clues provided them with an extra incentive to keep reading all summer. Special thanks to our terrific summer helpers, Gwen Cullen and Alice Kiffer, who manned the KVL Detective Agency.

Harry Potter mania was in the air in July. Nicholas Kristensen was the overall winner in our Harry Potter Trivia Contest. Forty-one kids answered the Seven Questions of harry Potter in the weeks prior to the release of Book 7, anticipating what would happen in the final book. Olivia Walsh won first prize for having the most correct predictions.
