CHILDREN'S CONCERT

The Katonah Village Library is pleased to present "Drums Through the Ages," a children’s concert, on Sunday, September 28, at 4 p.m.

This concert, part of the "Off Main Steet" Katonah Library Series, is presented by the New York Chamber Players which consists of Gena Raps, Artistic Director, John Stine, Associate Director and Gregory Palitz, Writer, along with Danny Mallon on drums.

"Drums Through the Ages" is an interactive, rhythmic journey of drums and their story with one of today's leading early music percussionists. Danny Mallon performs on a wide array of world instruments including bodrhran, Arabic tambourine, darbuka, frame drums, shakers, castanets and other toys while overtone singing. This one of a kind program, which includes an interactive story with sound effects played by children from the audience, is sure to delight all.
