Westchester Reads - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Nov. 7

The Katonah Village Library celebrates Westchester Reads…..Charlie and The Chocolate Factory with a Family Fun Evening November 7 at 7:00.

Actor and friend of the library, John BedfordLloyd will read the first two chapters of this wonderfully, wacky children’s classic by Roald Dahl. Following the reading we will be serving “make your own “chocolate sundaes. Families can check out a copy of the book and receive the first half of their GOLDEN TICKET. When you finish reading the book come into the library and answer a Trivia question about the book and receive the second half of your GOLDEN TICKET. You can use it to enter our Tower of Chocolate Raffle. The drawing will be held November 30.

The Westchester Reads program is an annual event sponsored by the Westchester Library System to promote family reading. In past years families have enjoyed reading together The Hobbit and Charlotte’s Web.
